Bureau of Human Rights and Justice (BHRJ)
Who We Are
Who We Are
BHRJ is the leading human rights organization working with ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities, and indigenous peoples worldwide.
Millions of people miss out on basic rights because they are different. We support minorities and indigenous peoples in the defence of their rights – to the lands they live on, to the languages they speak, to the beliefs they practise, to the cultures they enjoy, to equal opportunities in education and employment, and to full participation in public life.
We work with ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities, and indigenous peoples to secure their rights and promote understanding between communities. We are guided by the needs expressed by our worldwide network of over 10 partner organizations in more than 30 countries. Together, we challenge power structures that exclude and silence those who are different.
Inclusive approach
We recognize that there are people who may face additional discrimination within minority and indigenous communities and make sure that no one gets left behind.
